Dunno what that makes us then although the bottom three consisting of Notts, Macc and Yeovil have all taken points off us this season.

Here I am in Beeston, hearing a loud bang, I go outside to investigate but see nothing. I log onto hereto find it was county crashing back down to earth.

I guess that answers the quastion "were we so poor because county are suddenly good, or because we had a major off day?"

No, however I do consider us disappointingly poor against so called poorer teams in the league. Do we not put as much effort into these games or is it that their tactics stifle our play and we simply can't cope?

No matter how bad Notts are we were made to look poorer than them Saturday. Lets hope playing a better quality team in FGR allows us to serve up better quality ourselves.

Jamille Matt was unplayable tonight. A brilliant diving header & an even better overhead kick (a pic of mine which will be in today’s Sun if you get one ) They thumped the bar with a vicious shot too & could've had more. It was mildly amusing to hear the kop kids singing ‘we hate mansfield’ just as Newport stuck the ball into their net to shut them up

There are the beginnings of a rumour among Notts fans that Paragon have pulled the plug on Notts and they're about to go into administration.

Could all be nonsense, but a few on their forum are saying they've heard the same thing from difference sources.

Maybe setting up plans if a buyer doesn’t come through or they drop out of the league?
It feels like January was the final attempt to buy their way out of trouble and convince potential buyers. Based on Saturday they’ve given themselves a chance of both but had better plan for both scenarios.
