Just watched Charlie on facebook. He says that Martin Allan is not in the running. Gary Bowyer and Michael Appleton do not want the job. Neal Ardley wants a break. Kevin Nolan is quite open about a return to Meadow Lane. Do not rule out Sean Derry. Paul Hurst was at Meadow Lane. Shrewsbury have said that they do not want him back as he burned his bridges when he left. Paul Heckingbottom is another possibility.

Made my weekend to hear the utter despair from the bed wetters. No doubt this team of under achievers are taking the well trodden Spierite path to oblivion. They will need to spend big in January, but as others have found in their predicament, not many League players will want to join their sinking ship.

Makes me realise how our club has surged ahead this season. Even when things are not going our way all our players are working their socks off to achieve results. Long may it continue.
