Wrexham went down with us and even though have now become all Hollywood I do think they have served their time and belong back in the league. Hope county join them it’s good for the league having a proper club back in. Any club that beats the cheats and stops them coming up is welcome.

Wrexham should be in the League of Wales

Wrexham had already been members of the Football League for 70 years when the League of Wales was formed.
Despite the Hollywood bull surrounding them these days I'd sooner have Wrexham in the league than those plastic strawberries we played on Saturday (see also Fleetwood, FGR, Crawley etc etc) proper club loads of history, a decent fanbase & as Costa says we've had some good times against them.
I hope they win their next game 8 nil.

That was a trend started by Coughlan.
Akins and Keillor-dunn are often described as wingers. When Keillor-dunn arrived Burton referred to him as winger
https://www.burtonalbionfc.co.uk/news/2 ... /3101-dkd/Law Oates and Bowery have played left wing before.
Belive it or not though, not much call for wingers when you play a back 3 or a narrow diamond 4-4-2.

We dont have out and out wingers because we dont play in that style - yet we do have the highest number of crosses of any team in the league (Paul Simpson referenced it in his interview), so that'll include teams that do have wingers. We have overlapping full backs who do that job. Hewitt easily puts in at least 5 crosses a game, Macca the same when he plays.

Last week Charlie Slater was wetting himself with the fact that Clownty had more points than any other team in the world at that moment in time. Will he now correct himself by mentioning that Wrexham now hold that record? Happy St David's day Charlie.

And Wrexham have still played a game less.

If Wrexham are promoted (which I think they will be), they will be a force much stronger than the likes of Notts and Cheaterfield in League Two next season.

I personally would like to see Notts not go up just to see what happens regarding their finances as a result.
Aren't they currently running at £12m in the red without promotion?
As usual the bed wetting fans turn a blind eye to that though, why change the habit of a lifetime....

Neglecting that their keeper (on a yellow) making a further yellow card offence tackle in the area, that was given outside the area with no booking…

Wrexham looking in an increasingly commanding position, a six point gap would open up if they win their game in hand.

I was looking back on the season we lost in the BSP play offs to York.
We were 6 points ahead of York Wrexham a whopping 15 points clear. Neither of us made ot to the final & Wrexham a decade later are still down there.
It would be simply awful if the same happened to County & the Spireites.

Another win for County tonight. They could get over 100 points and still not go up. That would be terrible.

Langstaff scored his 40th of the season to set a new club record.
