The youth set up has produced some good teams over the last few years. I have had good times watching them before lockdown. Why with so many good performances, have we not seen many make the transition to the first team. Shame to waste all that hard work and effort.

If grass is there, move our home games.

In the practice game against the under18's the first team won 3-0.Rawson played right back for the young uns. They had 6 under 17's playing.3-0 not a bad result. There were some good performances hopefully. when we are safe then Clough may play a few in the first team or put a couple on the bench.Ethan Hill [no relation] played very well and was praised by some of the players and Gary Crosby. He is a centre midfielder originally at Forest. If he gets to play in the first team then he will have earned a place as our midfield is the best we have had for a long time.

Very good result as we had 4 or 5 under 16's and under 17's playing.

Nigel Clough mentioned in a recent interview that 3 from the youth team had been offered first year pro contracts. Does anyone know who has progressed or left this year?

Thanks geoff, any idea what defensive position Cooper plays ?- hope it`s left back as we could do with one coming through.
