Wasn't Asante there star man when they were going to smash the conference a couple of years ago ?

Still I can see the logic in keeping Big Tom Denton really good plasterer apparently.
And if young Nigel says he's happy
He must be happy
He must be happy
He must be happy in his world

;) My favourite sheep post of last season

Your young dinosaur exposed himself and got the sack

Search and Destroy wrote:As staggering as it sounds, we’ve just bought one of the sought after talents in the bottom 3 divisions and he’s probably our 3rd best striker

Quite incredible what the club have achieved really, just shows what having one the most ambitious, forward thinking young Managers in football does for you.

So glad we didn’t go for an exposed, waning dinosaur

I’m sure Nigel will be fine for you but he’s been in the game for years and he’s at Mansfield……tells its own story I guess.

It's hilarious that some of the deluded nobs who kept coming on here when they were doing well have gone into hiding.

Have a read of the comments on here, absolute comedy gold. Some serious cost cutting going on here as predicted. They're in big trouble.

Quite amazed that their one shot at going at it was wasted so badly.... all while theres little income coming into the club

How do you end up with a squad of 34 and then blame injuries for bottling it?? Multiple transfer fees paid, wages that would look silly in league two and they just scraped into the playoffs.. Cant imagine it will be long before theyre in trouble again

Will be injured until the end of the cricket season though. ;) ;)

They may as well, they are going to be down there for some time. Paul Cook will be gone before they know it, poor start and thats it.

May as well swap to supporting Alfreton now as they will be changing places soon.

Surely Asante gets a statue after scoring a consolation goal against Chelsea in a 5-1 defeat.

The Spireites apparently paid £250,000 for Kobongo Tshimanga

Tshimanga will be sold. Someone like Stockport or Wrexham or Peterborough will buy him.

It's about time we returned the favour for when Clucas was sold.
Would anyone else take Tshimanga? Could be a relative bargain as he's injured but would be a good replacement for Johnson.

Bit random. What made you go with those 3?

Most certainly not. Like a lot of others he looks good at Conference level but I really doubt he would be prolific in the league. He may develop with a few league seasons under his belt a la Ollie Palmer but I don’t think he’s young enough to really improve He’s 25 next month so hardly a spring chicken.
