'To be honest I don’t think it would matter what players we brought in to an extent, the club is rotting and we are destined for non league. We are on a downward spiral and I don’t see it stopping anytime soon. Sad to say really.'

The best bit is that Allen has said he won't leave if they go down.

The chesterfield fans thinking JL should have signed better players are deluded. There in the bottom two, players don’t want to come to you when your there! Alan Hardy was on team talk on notts tv early Jan, talking about January’17 transfer window, saying they tried to sign quality players, but said no one wanted to come.

Looking at t'sheep's fixtures it dawned on me that they have only 4 home games left from the 11 remaining.

I'm being a little optimistic with my preds for their remaining games in giving them a point more than a point a game which is better than their present form.

Chelt A Loss
Notts H Draw
Vale A Draw
Newp H Win
Grim A Win
Morec A Draw
Stags H Loss
Exete A Loss
FGR A Loss
Wyco H Loss
Barn A Win

Total 42 points.

It's not gonna be enough I think.
Anyone else reckon they'll do better?

A bit like ours at Daggers in 2008

Adding the digits on their hands Spireites have just realised they've now got one game less to save themselves than the total they've counted on the end of their handy pandies. :D

For both of them?
Grimsby away at FGR. Morecambe and Port Vale both away. At Coventry and Cambridge respectively.
Some tasty games at top of table too.

Lester has just come out and said they had a dressing room bust-up after the Lincoln game. He said the players have no fight and not one of them who are out of the team have come to him and asked to be played.

Sounds like they already know they're down and don't trust the manager to lead them.
