I suppose this could be a bit of a relief for Cheats fans. They no longer have to think about their star man only being a crock that can’t pass a medical and earn them a few bob.

As a distraction technique it’s working quite well.

I'm not sure what's gone off here. These incidents don't reflect well on football clubs. However, in terms of coverage the Oldham incident has gone national both in the press and radio. Which will have a much bigger audience, than something in the East London Advertiser or South Wales Argus.

Did Dion and Jacob not make it to the national press?

Failure to control players happens all the time, what’s gone off at oldham is disgusting but you lot are making out that your whiter than white when you’ve had plenty of issues over the years.

What about Shayne Bradley left us and signed for them and started spitting at players and then stalking his exes. Seems anyone associated with Chesterfield go rotten.

When I first read about it on here I went on Bob's Board for a look.

Many of them on there were understandably complaining that they were 'being dragged through the gutter again' and that's a point to remember. It is one thing after another with them, the previous one being less than 2 weeks ago when female Spireite fans complained about the sexist and sexual comments made to them by their own fans (see Derbyshire Times story below).

We don't need to read the list of their scandals. their own fans say they're the 'most hated lower Leagues club' for these very reasons.

With their recent history they'll be raffling off signed shirt and a meet & greet.

They're also coming up with songs about their keeper Lucas Covolan hailing him as some hero.

This is a bloke who violently stamped on a player less than a month ago for no reason whatsoever.

Interesting the point about a female fan passing out at a game. I know they are raspberries but that's bad

The difference being we sorted it out and banned him for life.
Chesterfield seemingly just let the bloke wander off

Exactly, we got rid of the bad egg and they kept theirs and move from one scandal to the next. Every club have something once in a while but they have one after another, there’s got to be some sort of leadership issue creating that culture?

What a clown trying to use on the pitch altercations as a minimising excuse for the conduct of a club employee.

Do you regard that as an on the pitch issue then when a Chesterfield fan once ran on the pitch and punched the then goalkeeper of Bury in the face whilst the game was ongoing?

Just a club that's bent and toxic fron the very top to the bottom.

Not forgetting racially abusing the Ebbsfleet keeper and stamping on him as he laid on the floor.

Scummy club, scummy fans.
