All goes to the final day with t'sheep needing a point at home to Woking. Daggers have to beat Wrexham at home. Somehow they'll just edge it and srape in,

They are suffering the death of a thousand cuts. No hope in the playoffs but have to go through the motions anyway. How sad, never mind.

Wrexham are beating Stockport 3-0 with two goals from Ollie Palmer and one from Paul Mullen. Wrexham now top of the league but Stockport have a game in hand.

I've no idea if Wrexham and Stockport are good sides, or just good sides in a poor league. We know that decent goalscorers are worth their weight in gold in the Conference, and they have them.

Stockport will need 4 points from home games against Torquay and Halifax if Wrexham win at Daggers next Sunday. Halifax are going for 3rd spot with Solihull Moors so unlikely to rest players for play offs.

Daggers could beat Wrexham and pip Spireites to play offs if they mess up at home against Woking. Boreham Wood could also pip the Spireites but need big wins against Altrincham and Solihull Moors at home. It was a shame they could not hang on to their 2-1 half time lead at Yeovil.

Looks like Spireites away at Halifax/Solihull Moors in play offs at moment and Grimsby away at County.

I said that they could quite easily lose 4 out of their last 5 games with Dover being the only win. Well , one more game to go eh

Wrexham are hugely effective. And Tozer's long throws are lethal. Another goal today, with Palmer flicking in directly from it. I think they said that is 14 goals from Tozer long throws this season.

I'd like Solihull to do them in the play offs. That's another season for either the Sheep or the Skunks in the pit guarenteed.

Solihull have done amazingly this season to only be a few points behind Stockport and Wrexham

I think Wrexham will go up whether they win the league or not. I think Stockport will only go up if they win the league. They are currently only a shadow of themselves compared with a few weeks ago. I think all the play off sides will think they have a better chance of promotion if Wrexham win the league.

Spireite Gazette (unofficial blog)

"Chesterfield axed James Rowe as their manager for alleged sexual indecency. The club wrote a 'letter of concern' to the FA after he was appointed manager of non-League side AFC Fylde, warning he 'posed a potential danger to women"

Rowe has got Fylde into the playoffs. What price success ? Has to be said Fylde say they have done their due diligence. Rowe denies the allegations.

They've only done that because, whilst he's a degenerate, he's also a good manager - and they dont want him to do well anywhere else when they were forced to sack him.
