The club who employed a sex pest also employs thugs.

Disgusting team.

Town refers to club that went bust in the early 1900’s

Can only hope they implode like they did last year (remember they were champions in September and October at least) and they will have to have a fire sale surely.

Begging buckets impending if they don't go up.
Hope Wrexham just do a Crawley and buy all the best players and weaken all those around them.

Arsenal got 2 points deducted back in the day for their players scrapping on the pitch with Man Ure players.

How long after a game is over can club be sanctioned for failing to control their players?

Disgusting from one of their players, it's just never ending with them lot isn't it? Horrible club.

This won't de rail their season though, unfortunately. I think they have more than enough quality to win the league this time.

That’s what they’d need to do to equal the time we went up.

Your right it’s absolutely disgusting from one of our players. And as a chesterfield fan like everyone else we hope Hallam makes a speedy recovery and the player concerned with is dealt with accordingly.

Now May I remind you about Dion and Jacob

Thank you for highlighting that case as it has a true relevance to your latest disgrace.

Donohue actually played for your club between 2015 and 2017 but had been at our club for less than 2 months before that disgraceful incident. He was the main offender and was the one convicted of assault. He was dealt with swiftly by our club and was almost immediately dismissed prior to the case being put before the courts.

Clearly our club made a mistake by employing Donohue, who had a previous conviction, and giving him a second chance to re-establish himself in league football. We did however immediately bring his association with our club to a swift end.

Obviously not all of your players share this type of behaviour but perhaps we should improve our vetting procedures when dealing with ex Cheats players as it appears this type of mentality may be endemic within your club.

We look forward to your player being immediately disciplined and suspended by your club. If there is a prima facia case perhaps his employment should be terminated prior to any court appearance.

Just a couple of comments from your fans on your club’s statement:

Ok bacs, thank you for accepting the player should be sacked but I would add only if there is a prima facia case. You don’t mention a time line for that sacking and can I point out that Donohue was sacked prior to being charged. Additionally both he and Melis were suspended immediately the club learned of the incident.

In respect of the two incidents you have highlighted, with all due respect although I don’t condone them, there is a world of difference between incidents on the pitch and an assault which occurred in a car park some considerable time after the game finished. I think you know and accept that but just want to sling a bit of mud to detract from the disgraceful incident involving your team.

For your club to gain any credence from this sorry incident they should immediately suspend the player and tell the world that they have done so. I would understand if they didn’t name him as there is an ongoing police investigation but would award more credit if they did put his name out there. Failure to suspend him indicates support for the act.

I'm not sure what's gone off here. These incidents don't reflect well on football clubs. However, in terms of coverage the Oldham incident has gone national both in the press and radio. Which will have a much bigger audience, than something in the East London Advertiser or South Wales Argus.

Did Dion and Jacob not make it to the national press?

Failure to control players happens all the time, what’s gone off at oldham is disgusting but you lot are making out that your whiter than white when you’ve had plenty of issues over the years.
