Full Time
Spireites 1 Halifax 1
Alty 0 Wrexham 2
Solihull 0 Stockport 1
Maidenhead 1 Bromley 0
Daggers 1 Aldershot 0

Good to see Wrexham and Stockport putting the pressure on.

Boreham Wood could go top if they win their game in hand.

I think F.C Hollywood and Stockport County will be promoted.

Even Notts down in 9th are only 5 points behind the raspberry. There's plenty of time left for them to mess it up yet.

Hope so! Wrexham and Stockport are proper league teams unlike Salford and Stevenage. Shame Evans didn't get the Stevenage job as a relegation to the National League would look great on his CV.

The free tickets are for the kids who have been misbehaving , those that have been good get tickets for the stags .

I rate Dave Challinor as a manager so I fancy Stockport to come on strong and they and Wrexham will probably sign a load more players.

The Halifax commentators sounded like they were commentating from the old dressing room under the stands at Saltergate. They got a dig in about the Spireites signing loads of players but being unable to afford frost covers.

Just because teams like
Chesterfield
Wrexham etc get bigger crowds than us it doesn’t mean they are a bigger club
We have Championship training facilities
Great owners and a ex England player as manager
We have really sound local owners and we are playing decent football
I couldn’t give a flying fig about clubs gloating about our lack of support

Couldn't give a toss who's bigger.. don't even know if you can really measure how big clubs from similar sized towns are. Doesn't matter really, were all Mansfield, born here and will always support stags. We will be a championship club one day.

Anyone that finishes above Wrexham wins the Non League Trophy.
They have the power to spend in January and strengthen further.I expect them to win the league by half a dozen points or more

I was there today, went with my brother. He had extra tickets as someone he knew tested positive for Covid.
There were 4 tickets, all of which had a cost of £0.00 printed on them.
When I asked him who he had got them from he said it was his mate who got them via his kids school or something.
Noticed there were a lot of youg kids with their parents there, not a bad thing to do to initiate the next generation of support.

They did however, do exactly what we used to do in those type of situations where we used to try and "Fill the Mill" (anyone remember the "Pay what you want" debacle?) by freezing in front of the inflated crowd and totally forgetting how to be professional footballers.

It was hilarious to see that the sub-standard refereeing was still intact too.
The referee gave what to me seemed to be a blatant penalty for handball, it was debateable whether the Halifax player was nudged by a Direite attacker prior to the handball, but his arms were outstretched and in a ridiculously un-natural position in my opinion anyway. The referee was up with play and had a great view of the incident, and did not hesitate to point to the spot.
He then decided to overturn his original decision based on the opinion of his assistant, who was a good 45 yards or so away. What he saw that the referee couldn't baffled me, although I enjoyed it as it kept them 1-0 down at the time.

Their goal came from their only shot on target that they managed to muster in 98 minutes. They looked poor and at best bang average.
They still didn't lose though which unfortunately is a good habit to have when you play crap and you're chasing promotion. We were the same when we escaped that dire league.
I just hope Wrexham and Stockport give them the same sort of problem we had with Crawley and Fleetwood back in the day.

Field Mill/ One Call is an expensive place to watch football at this level, that's why they get bigger crowds.
