Yes, but not as good as Wrexham's away win at a Championship side ;)

Wealdstone

Like where is that?

Must be nice to be playing these games though in the cup, remembering the good old days when they were a league club and not playing the butcher, baker and the candlestick maker every other week.

It’s certainly nice playing these games to see how our YOUNG squad square up against league opposition.

Is it right negative Nige is being linked with Brayford ? certainly fits the age criteria.

In our 5th season in the Dilly Dilly League we had a similar cup run and gave a decent Liverpool side a damn good run for their money and only lost to a blatant handball goal from Saurez.......but we went on to win the league that year and are now a Football League Club..........

Not a chance in hell are you gonna do that !!

Thanks for the raspberry match report that nobody is interested in.

Looking forward to your next 1 from Wealdstone. Best get the 3 points as you already need snookers.

I think we should wait and see which players move up to the league from conference sides before trying to debate exactly who will succeed.

We were probably a similar number of points behind at this point (can’t be bothered to look it up) but managed it in the end. I can’t actually see either Wrexham or County falling off the pace that much but if they lose key players to transfers or injury they could do.

Maybe you might get the chance sometime.

Just remember, in our 5th season we won the conference, the only way you can match us now is to win it, no pressure…

Are "Brayford" another one of those non league teams we don't play any more but maybe Cheaterfield do? I know its somewhere near Lincoln but maybe they have a football team.

Steve I’m out of here Evans had a good day in the cup too. His Stevenage side are flying

Serious question would you have him back over captain mainwaring and his team of old timers.

Former Crewe, Peterborough and Plymouth midfielder George Cooper has left the Spireites by mutual consent. That went well.

I doubt that. I was looking forward to seeing them getting beaten at Wealdstone on Tuesday before half an hour of rain on Monday caused the game to be postponed.

Doubt it all you like, I wouldn't fancy us against them at the moment.
The teams at the top of the national league are very competitive and they have at least a couple of players that would walk into our squad.
Dobra is ridiculous at that level and i'd take King too.

I've been to plenty of National League games this season, including several Woking games, who are 4th. Still a big difference in the overall standard between the National League and League Two in my opinion.
Dobra looks a good player, probably one of only 2 maybe 3 that I'd like. Wrexham on the other hand have a few I'd like to take.

I'd have Aaron Hayden in defence and Paul Mullin up front.

And then you mix in a side floundering in L2 and a side going for it in the division below.
I know who my money would be on.

Jeff King would be an excellent signing for us. Dobra probably wouldn't fit into our style/formation but is quality.

The cheats would love most of our players. Pym, Macca, Harbottle, Hewitt, Clarke, Boateng, Maris, Lapslie and Oates all walk straight into their first team. Probably Kilgour too.

I'd like to add Tozer to that list. Although with Hawkins gone, his long throws might not be so useful.
