Evidently the home fans were chanting "What a waste of petrol" to the Spireite fans

Enjoy.

A great first goal for the Spireites by Saidou Khan but then some Hewitt/Nartey style defending by Grimes and Gunning for the equaliser and Gordon style defending by McCourt for the third goal.

It looks like Tahvon Campbell (24) is finally going to get his career going at Woking after disappointing spells at Forest Green Rovers and Cheltenham Town.

Woking look a decent side. I watched the highlights when they beat Torquay United away. They won 4-0 but it could easily have been 8-0 although Torquay had a man sent off early on. They also should have drawn at Wrexham after missing chances in the 2nd half. They could be up there challenging for the play offs.

Bromley beat Grimsby 3-1 as well. Tough league.

Jesus H - That was beyond bad. Takes you back...

Does the conference get better each season??? - I think they are all FT pros now, but by the look of the quality on show in that match, it was laughably bad from Chesterfield, and Woking didn't look world beaters.

Also saw this on Bobs board that made me smirk: "Is Rowe 'lost' tactically without George Foster?"
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I doubt they have enough cash to attract the "million pound" manager.

Will we finally get to know how much compensation he’s worth?

Can’t see him wanting to go personally. Unless of course they offer him a shedload of money.

And if he does go, which players will follow?

Hope he does go. Any disruption to them is a bonus. Take that fella who has scored a couple with him. That should do.

Quite a few I would imagine.

I can't see him going to another none - league club. If a league club made an approach then I think he would jump ship.

The Cheaterfield chairman has turned down Southend's approach.

Despite what we think (and hope), James Rowe is a decent manager at that level and lower and always sets his sides up to attack.
He is still learning his trade and like most managers he makes mistakes too (Play Off Keeper Saga as an example)
If he keeps doing what he has started out with at CFC he will get bigger clubs coming in for him.

I don’t think he will get a league club until he achieves something. He’s made a good start but has no league experience and would be a big risk for a club near to the bottom of the pyramid. Maybe if he gets the cheats up but then why would he move unless it was the league above.

with the chaos Southend are in off the field, I think a manager would have to be desperate to take a job to go there at the moment.
