They are blaming someone who is no longer at the club.

I guess they think it makes it alright then.

They appear badly run, which makes you wonder what else is in the pipeline.

Take away all his goals last season then and we beat them 2-1 at home :D

I'd like to call them Cheatersfailed, but historically they're pretty good at getting away with it. It's just about the only thing they are good at.

I think that's a little unfair as they are superior to us and most other clubs in one aspect of the game.

They may be our local rivals but you have to give credit where it's due and lets be honest they've mastered the art of relegation.

Had t have a little inner smirk earlier today, living where we do Lincs FM is the station we have on, every hour when the news came on "football, Grimsby defiantly have non league opposition in the next round as they play the winner of Chesterfield or Billericay" priceless

Didn't we lose points for registering players late?

I used to work with Ricky Wilson when I first left school at Stanton Mill on Bath Lane. He actually threw the peanut at St Andrews at the Birmingham fans, he was a Leeds fan.
He was actually one of the thickest people I've ever met in my life. I doubt if he could tell the difference between a peanut & a house brick.

Yes, I think we did.

Something to do with a late registration and a fax machine if memory serves me right.

If Martin Allen leaves the Spireites flailing around the Conference relegation zone before joining County and taking them down, in the same season, then I would fully expect him to pull his Martin Allen mask off to reveal George Foster.

I have heard from a good(..ish) source who has connections to their club that today is the day Chesterfield finally manage a league win after a 3 month and 16 game wait.
Prediction of a 3-1 win too including a 4 match unbeaten run (W2 D2) taking the total unbeaten in the league to 10 games.
They will then have 25 points from 23 games and be five points clear of the relegation zone.
Also predicts the Stags to only take 1 point from their next two league matches and be out of the FA Cup!!
Something about "Cosmic Ordering"
Anyone can believe in fairy tales!
First match : 04.01.1975 home v Cambridge Utd F.A.Cup 3rd Round 1-0 Clarke

If Martin Allen does achieve both he will forever be a Stags legend :D
