Thought the same

I thought that it was sarcasm that, in a match that was won 4-1, the Crooked Spireites would not believe that their team had lost at home by that score. Therefore they must have been the team in red.

My own attempt at a joke clearly fell flat (as my partner says they always do).

Just had a quick look on Bob's board for a laugh, and i certainly got one. The messiah is now seen as a very naughty boy, and there was a thread about George Foster having been spotted at their ground. The last post on the thread was that if he had his boots with him he would get a game at the moment . Quality !

taken from blobs bored, Cook Resign Thread;

With the loss of Kabs, A fast deteriorating pitch & the turmoil of losing Rowe came a run of 5 home games on the trot & 7 in 10. What we have witnessed has been more of the same in terms of giving away leads
& wins & draws turning into losses as the weight of adversity mounted. Cook has of course tried to firefight, with very mixed results but to lay the all blame at his door is frankly ludicrous.

so, it appears that HOME games are the reason they are failing now!
you really couldn,t make it up!
my one regret is...i have no regrets!

The way the Spireites abused furlough makes me wonder, as we take the moral high ground, just how much would the likes of Haslam and Hardy abused it.?

£3.5 billion in furlough fraud is the estimated total.

They’re not even in the semi final playoff spots atm

Once again they’d be playing county for the right to be 2 games away from the right to play mansfield (if we’re still in league 2)

Getting the Gang Back Together

If you can't get Leam Richardson then bring in Gary Roberts

"Gary Roberts has rejoined the Spireites after seven years away as part of Paul Cook’s coaching team. He takes his second coaching job as first-team coach after spending nine months at Ipswich Town last year with Cook."

And that went well.

What has happened to Webb ? Has he been demoted like they wanted to do with Foster.

Sounds like last roll of the promotion bid dice.

Looking at their last 6 games I think they could quite easily lose 5 of those.

May I ask what exactly have you "voiced" or had "the balls to stand up" to?
In an official way of course, not on a footy forum..

Many people have said this previously, you're not wrong it really does make you wonder!

Seems hes often taken over as caretaker when Cook has left, done well in limited circumstances, and then followed him to a better club for a better job.. however he refused to join him at Ipswich when things at Wigan looked positive and hes shown what he can do on his own. Highly rated and respected in the game.

Hilarious that they want cook gone so soon

They should beat Dover at home. They then have Stockport at home, Bromley away, Torquay away and Woking at home.

Be lucky to stay in the playoffs on current form and with those fixtures. I can see them losing 3 of them.
