I was at Barnet today (couldn’t make it to the Mill). In fairness they were decent and beat Barnet easily. Singing about us as usual.

Barnet has become a nothing club since moving. So sad to see.

Hanging on to Tshmanga will be key to their season. Although I don’t think he would pull up any trees at league level, he suits the conference perfectly. He’s big and strong and has enough about him to beat slow defenders and push them around.

If they keep him they will probably go up via the playoffs, if not they can look forward to another season in the pit of misery.

Let’s just hope Halifax do the business.
As we all know it’s tough down there so we just need to hope that their wheels will fall off just at the right time.
I think they have 4 home games on the trot coming up against bottom teams so it might get worse for us before it gets better.

I’d love to see that. Got a soft spot for Hearts.

Says a lot about the quality of the Scottish game though

He took the second well - very calm finish.

It pains me to say it but as well as him they looked quite good. They knocked it around quite nicely. Although Barnet maybe flattered them as they didn’t really have a clue going forward.

Barnet are a poor side at the moment. Hopefully the wheels will fall off soon.

That’s one of the very few things i miss about the conference,

This week they face footballing giants of Maidenhead and aldershot followed by heavyweights eastleigh and dagenham      .

Those guaranteed 3 pointers you don’t get in the league.

Sadly that lucky cup draw will bankroll the rest of the season, they might say to him stay with us until the end of the season and then we’ll sell you.

He's got a buyout of £350k. For any team with that to spare, he's worth a punt, and I'd rather play SPL than NL. Doesn't really say anything about the quality of the Scottish game.

Yeah it does. That a player in the NL is interesting SPL teams says a lot. Calum Butcher. Look at the example of him. The SPL is very poor. Apart from the Old Firm, it’s L1 standard

Halifax were very poor at Alfreton yesterday, Mate of mine went and said Spireites shouldn't have a problem finishing above them

Same as most years, theres usually a run away team that always gets caught towards the end. Wrexham and Stockport will hit form and County and coming in fast right behind them and personally think they have a better squad.

Id much prefer notts to pip them to it. And smaller sides like Halifax and Borehamwood fit the model of teams promoted in recent years like Sutton and harrogate, its wide open.

Your mate is spot on they were awful. Alfreton should’ve sewn the game up by half time.

Yes, but was it their first team or had they just given a run out to their fringe players just because it was the trophy. We know a side that just withdrew as they couldn’t case less about the competition.

Me too I’d rather have another Nottinghamshire team back in the league

Can’t be nice though can it, you spend 4 years dreaming of the day when you can play your fiercest rival ,finally manage to get promoted and your rivals are no longer in that league. Must seem like someone is moving the goalposts.
