Re: The Sincil Bank Rehabilitation Centre for Former Stags

I was talking to a few Imps supporters last night and they almost seem to expect the play offs. They were saying that FGR were rather poor on Saturday.

They played better than last week at Borehamwood in a game of few chances. They took a deserved lead in the 81st minute but fell to a stoppage time equaliser from what was Sutton's only shot of the match on target.

Sutton are way off the pace but could not go up because they have a plastic pitch which is new this season.

Both Rhead and Arnold were a bit anonymous last night.

The big game is Tranmere v FGR on 11 Apr.

Lincoln are on TV again next Monday against Dagenham and Redbridge. Another big game as daggers are still in the play off positions. Also Barrow are still in with a chance of the play offs.

It is a 3 horse race for the title but I think Tranmere are the form team at the moment and have 5 home games out of 8 including 4 home games in a row.

I was going to go tonight, but have decided to watch it on TV instead, it's pretty average so far and as I have already said on this thread, if Lincoln do go up their squad will need major surgery!

I've a feeling Tranmere will win the league, but Lincoln will also be promoted via the playoffs.

Big win for the Imps tonight. Good to see Rheady score.

The remaining Lincoln fixtures are:

Eastleigh A
Chester H
Torquay H
Gateshead A
Macclesfield H
Maidstone A
Southport A

Eastleigh and Gateshead away could be tricky.

Tranmere have an easier run in with five of their last seven games at home:
Sutton Utd H
Solihull Moors H
Forest Green H
Aldershot H
Guiseley A
Southport H
Maidstone A

I hope Lincoln can do it.

The Imps need to win six out of seven with their better goal difference....

That's if Tranny win all their games....

Lincoln City have never played at Wembley in their 133 year history so winning the play offs would be a great way to do it. Losing would be unthinkable after the season they have had

U feel the Imps coming back and yes they are doing well but look at the attendance of 7,000 for the Conference and the Daggers hardly brought anybody!!

Why can we not quite make 4,000??

having a listen to commentary on Tranmere vs Sutton. Incredibly Sutton just scored twice in a few minutes to come back from 2-0 down to 2-2

I rated it 8 or 9 out of 10, it always feels better when it's free to air.

Tranny win 9 (nine) -0 , but Lincoln's one goal win at Eastleigh is a massive result.

FGR put a proper fly in the ointment as they win at Tranny. The Imps win 1-0 and are 3 clear with a game in hand.

Mine was too, until last night. Lincoln are dealing with the pressure admirably. Pivotal result last night.

I hope Lincoln can do it.

My prediction is 99 points for Lincoln and 95 for Tranny at the end of the season. Last night was a Braintree moment for Tranny. But we still had it in our own hands afterwards, Tranny don't and Lincoln can afford the luxury of dropped points in their extra game and still win it so long as they match Rovers's results.

Massive results for Lincoln last night. They managed to hold on for a 1-0 win against Chester and had to play with ten men for 15 minutes at the end. Paul Farman also made a crucial save in injury time. FGR then did them a massive favour by beating Tranmere. I think Lincoln will do it if they get six points from the next two games, Torquay (home), Gateshead (away) and Macclesfield (home).
