It's not because they ask our opinion that they will (or necessarily should) follow it. There are lots of suggestions, do let's see how many get followed. They have to ballanced it somehow. What would be good is if someone could do a recap on the summary post, but with all the decisions taken by the club.

at SFU we received a draft of the season ticket prices, and we went through it with a fine toothcombe, spelling out which of the common themes of the fans feedback had been incorporated and which had not, and showing that back to the club. It took quite some time but we thought it would be time well spent. At the moment, I don't have time to do further comparison to the final version.

I welcome the introduction of the young adult ticket. The club listened and introduced something. The absence of a student deal either shows a misunderstanding of the further education system, or a lack of care.

I think amongst the most major issues were: cheaper matchday prices for kids and families - of which they've introduced the bizarre QLE nonsense.
The other was the introduction of a matchday turnstile; it looks like this might have been ignored.

Cheers Martin.

My own view is that it is the club's responsibility to spell out to the fans whether they will be better off - or not - and how many of the fans views were taken up or rejected.

A simple comparison table is all that's required.

But the reading of the Season Ticket announcement - and the details - make it appear like a game of Cluedo. "Wilfred in the Quarry Lane End with his membership card".

The club need to put their thinking heads on for once. The football served up last season was truly awful and the fans are entitled to expect something better next season than a Waddingtons mish-mash in the guise of a ticketing strategy.

You're right Wilf. Most people will look at the QLE membership scheme, think "hey?!?", and then just think "bugger understanding that".

There will be about 300 in the QLE next season.

update - we will have the comparison of the common themes of the fans feedback with the final ticket prices in the next few days.

That's great Martin. Thanks. I'll look forward to seeing exactly how much they've considered the fans against profit.

I wonder which fan suggested the worlds most expensive raffle.
