If you know any under 7's then potentially you could get a free season ticket next to you. If you need a seat for a mate anytime they can just book a random seat and sit next to you.

Can anyone tell me why some seats are not taken but you cannot have them ?
Also what does it mean when a seat as a black ring around it ?
I am refering to seats in blocks B and C quarry lane end?

I’m pretty sure they’re the ones where a STH hasn’t yet purchased the seat but it isn’t available until 4th july

The post lockdown effect? People were deprived of the game for a time and now grateful to be back. Grateful to meet up with people and make new friends etc? I’m not sure people would leave their prem team and come watch division 4 football though.

I personally stopped watching football for years and years (used to watch my hometown Brighton) then went off football for a good 7/8 years. Then just when restrictions were being lifted and football was coming back for the 2021/22 season I just had a strong desire to follow my local pro football club. Living in Hucknall I had a choice of three clubs: Nottingham Forest (too popular!), Notts County (too depressing), Or Mansfield Town (just right!).

Bought QL memberships last season to try Mansfield out and bought my first ever season ticket along with a mate for this season. I’m sure this isn’t a typical example of why season ticket sales are going up but I think the post lockdown effect is that people missed football and community more than we realise and local football is one of those great social glue thingys.

Yes that's definitely right, my son hasn't renewed yet and has the black circle of doom around his seat.

The only thing you can compare our season ticket sales with, isn't other clubs or other similar sized towns, it's our own previous sales - and we're 25% above the highest total we've ever recorded. That feels like it's good.

Quick look again on ground seating plan and about 500 season ticket holders still to renew and only 23
Seats Available in the Ian Greaves upper level if all season tickets are renewed

Some of those with a black circle around will become available on the 4th I believe. Mine in the F Block, Lower still has a black circle around it despite being dragged into the QLE for season tickets with the family.

Pay day for many today so 2 full days before early bird finishes should see us pass 4000.
Some of those ST holders showing not renewed will have transferred to QLE, which is a cracking price.
Personally I wish the club would extend the early bird for 1 more week.

If people are waiting for pay day to get their early bird offer, then I would wait until that is over with and then start announcing signings on 5th July. That way any signings that make peoples mind up to buy a season ticket will have to buy one at full price.

It is a shame, especially as people have had 12 months to save since the season tickets were last annouced.

I'm glad you saved up all year for your June pay day

Come on Mansfield let's back the club.

It will be well over 4000. Sales don't end with the early bird offer. Whilst costing more after we have always sold tickets after that date.
