Club information during postponement of fixtures
mansfieldtown.net, Fri 13 March 2020, 6pm

The club can now release the following information to its supporters, following the EFL’s decision to postpone Sky Bet League Two fixtures until April 02, at the earliest, because of the COVID-19 virus outbreak.

The postponements include all Stags’ matches in the first team, reserves, academy, ladies and youth.

In summary, the club is adopting a common-sense approach during this time. We will continue to monitor government and EFL advice and will of course act appropriately if anything changes.

The club can also inform supporters that owners John & Carolyn Radford have pledged to cover any financial shortfalls over the coming weeks that result from the loss of matchday income.

Manager Graham Coughlan has confirmed that his first team squad have been instructed to self-isolate for the next seven days. The club can confirm that no symptoms of the virus have been shown by any first team player or member of staff.

Players have been asked to maintain high fitness levels via a personal fitness schedule.

The club anticipates that there could be as many as four matches played a week - on the assumption that the League Two campaign resumes - and it is therefore important that fitness levels are maintained.

The club would like to inform supporters that, at present, the club’s reception and club shop at One Call Stadium will remain open from 10am until 5pm from Monday to Friday.

Standard ticket refunds (which do not include season tickets and Quarry Lane memberships) for postponed home/away matches can be made in the following ways:

-If purchased online via the ‘select print at home option’, please telephone the club via 01623 482 482 (option 1).
-If purchased in person and you have selected ‘to post’ or ‘collect', the ticket(s) will need to be reissued to the club in person at the ticket office at One Call Stadium.

Because of the prospective deficiency in cash flow over the next few weeks, it would be preferable for refunds to be made by debit or credit card.
