NEWS: John Dempster appointed Lead Professional Development Phase Coach
Fri 7 Feb 2020, ccfc.co.uk Coventry City have appointed John Dempster as the Club’s new Lead Professional Development Phase Coach. The appointment sees Dempster take charge of City’s Under 18s side. The former Mansfield Town Manager and Academy Manager at The Stags begins his work at the Sky Blues Academy with immediate effect. 36-year-old Dempster enjoyed a playing career which included representing Scotland at Under 21 level and spells at Rushden & Diamonds, Oxford United and Kettering Town plus others, before hanging up boots following a spell at Mansfield in 2015. Following his retirement, he was appointed Academy Manager at Mansfield in 2015, having a spell as caretaker manager in February 2018.
