Disley targets return
Teamtalk Mansfield midfielder Craig Disley is aiming for a return to fitness in time for the weekend clash with Swindon. The 21-year-old limped out of the 1-0 defeat to Oldham after suffering medial knee ligament damage in an off-the-ball incident which ended with David Eyres being sent off. Disley also missed the 3-2 midweek home win over Luton as well as the 3-1 defeat at Cheltenham on Saturday, but reckons he will be back in contention for a recall this weekend. Disley said: "I've just tweaked the ligament, it was something I suffered with last season too. "The physiotherapist gave me a schedule of about two weeks to get back so I'm aiming at the Swindon game. It's not too serious but it's best to treat these things with care." |
