Pearce and Walker named in PFA League Two Team of the Year
mansfieldtown.net, 24 April 2019

The duo of Krystian Pearce and Tyler Walker have been named in the PFA League Two Team of the Year.

Pearce, the Stags' captain, has been instrumental to Mansfield maintaining the best defensive record in the division, and has also chipped in with four goals.

Walker, on loan from Nottingham Forest, has enjoyed an excellent season in amber and blue, firing in 25 goals in all competitions, and 21 in Sky Bet League Two.

The announcement of the PFA Team of the Year follows both players making the EFL's League Two Team of the Season, along with Pearce being named in the EFL's Team of the Season.

Congratulations, lads!

The team is probably the ultimate accolade for the players named in it as it is voted for by their fellow professionals.

The players will be honoured at the PFA's annual awards ceremony in London on Sunday, April 28.
