A 0-0 draw between Carlisle and Cheltenham means that if Cheltenham lose at champions Plymouth and Stags beat Carlisle, on Saturday, then Stags will be promoted in third place.
It was a night of unbelievable tension listening to the worst commentator in the world, from BBC Radio Cumbria on the Carlisle website. Often you couldn't tell which side was attacking, but despite numerous Cheltenham set pieces (that is, after all, the only way they can score) Carlisle could have even won the game themselves with a number of good chances. |
