Port Vale are pleased to announce the signing of Ricky Miller from Peterborough United.
Miller links up with the Vale on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The striker arrives in Burslem following a difficult year at the ABAX Stadium which saw him play for the Posh only 10 times, and spend the second half of the season out on loan to Mansfield Town who were vying for a play-off spot in Sky Bet League Two.
The 29 year-old made eight appearances for the Stags and scored once as the Nottinghamshire club finished three points shy of the play-offs.
Prior to his move to Peterborough United in the summer of 2017, Miller was on the books at Luton Town where he failed to make an impact. He appeared 12 times for the Hatters, before being sent out on loan and ultimately, making a permanent move to the south coast with Dover Athletic.
His goal scoring prowess in the National League scoring 65 times in 96 appearances for the Whites alerted a number of clubs from the Football League, as he made his return in the blue of Peterborough United.
Miller will be linking up with his new teammates next week as they arrive back for pre-season training.
