Saturday 22nd February 2003 at Clipstone Welfare's Ground With most of the Stags successful League winning team unavailable for this Youth Team fixture, either through injuries, suspension or illness, the Stags line up was made up of mostly trialists and a sprinkling of 1st years. There was a spirited first half performance from the Stags. However after the break the visitors started to overpower the young Stags and ran out comfortable winners. Credit to the Clipstone groundstaff for offering an excellent playing surface bearing in mind the varying weather conditions over the last few weeks. |
