Rochdale Football Club is delighted to announce the loan signing of Brad Inman.

The midfielder joins Dale on a season-long loan from fellow League One side Peterborough United.

The Australian born 25-year-old started his professional career at Newcastle United.

Joining the Magpies at the age of 14, he progressed through the youth ranks there before signing a professional contract. He enjoyed a successful loan spell at Crewe Alexandra while at the club and joined the Alex on a permanent basis for an undisclosed fee in 2013. He went on to make almost 100 appearances during his three years at Gresty Road.

After his contract expired at Crewe last summer, Inman, who has been capped by Scotland at under-19 and under-21 level, joined the Posh.

Inman told iFollow: “The Gaffer seems like a winner and I want to play under someone like that.

“I asked to come here on a season-long loan because I want to be a part of this team for the whole season, not just six months.

“Over the last three seasons Rochdale have almost made it into the play-offs and that’s what has driven me to this club. Hopefully I can be part of achieving the next step.”
