TERRY DOLAN REACTION
Dolan Reacts To Tenth Home Win
from ycfc.net

YORK CITY manager Terry Dolan was quick to praise all eleven players after the tremendously exciting 3-1 home win over promotion chasing Mansfield Town at Bootham Crescent.

"I think the whole team did well today and we've come from behind to win the game for a change. We didn't start very well and went behind to a good strike from Murray to be fair, and we came back into it in the second half and finsihed it off with two excellent goals," said Dolan.

"I think we probably played better football on Tuesday night and didn't take our chances but we today we took our chances which just shows you the thin line between success and failure at times.

"The referee and linesmen gave them plenty of opportunities with free-kicks to score didn't they, which was bit worrying but we got some great blocks in and Alan (Fettis) was his usual self in the middle of the net so it was pleasing for everybody."

Despite the fact that Fettis picked up all the senior player of the year awards available to him, Dolan was quick to not single out any one player from his side.

"There are other players who have done well this season, so let's not forget them.

"Chris Brass was determined to go out this season with a good performance not just by himself, but by the team and he's led the team very well today. Congratulations also to Lee Nogan on his 100th goal, it's a nice landmark for him and I've just said to him 'right, you can start on the next 100 now'".

"With Lee Bullock out, Stephen Brackstone is a good passer of the ball, he's provided the first goal and also provided an excellent ball through for Jon Parkin for the second goal.

"We've done well today, with young players playing and as far as I'm concerened it bodes well for the future," added Dolan.
