Tonight's EFL Sky Bet League Two encounter at home to Blackpool will go ahead as planned after the One Call Stadium passed a pitch inspection at 9.15am.

Heavy rain in Mansfield yesterday had cast the fixture into doubt, but head groundsman Michael Merriman said this morning: "The pitch has drained really well over night, which was very positive to see after it was under water yesterday.

"It will still be damp in parts and we're expecting some drizzle at around 10am, but the ball is in motion on the pitch and we're good to go this evening."
