MICKY MOORE JOINS SOLIHULL AS ASSISTANT MANAGER

Micky Moore, who left Mansfield in April, has joined Solihull Moors, newly promoted to the National League (Conference), as assistant manager.

Mickey returned to Moors just before the start of this campaign’s pre season matches, having had two spells coaching Mansfield Town and prior to that at Nuneaton, Solihull Borough, Solihull Moors, Stratford Town and Redditch United. In his playing days he was a striker for Derby County, Swansea City, Redditch and Telford United.

He held the reigns at Moors in 2011 following the death of manager, Bob Faulkner and guided the club to 7th position in the Conference North.
Mickey has had two spells in the Conference National, the first with Mansfield and then with Nuneaton who he helped guide to the top 5 on a small budget - He brings experience and enthusiasm to the club to augment the coaching staff.
