A HOST of league clubs are looking to sign League of Wales-based striker Graham Evans.
The 22-year-old began his career at Caersws in 1995, before impressing enough to earn a move to Aston Villa in 1998. He left Villa Park after two-years and kick-started his
career back at Caersws and has bagged over 80 goals in two seasons since being back at the Recreation Ground. This form has now led to a great deal of interest, with league sides Mansfield, Wrexham and Torquay all Vying to sign the player. Crack non-league outfit Yeovil Town have also thrown their hat into the ring, whilst League of Wales giants TNS have made him a top priority.
Evans is now considering his options, but his agent Wayne Belsey admits that a move back into league football is his most likely option. "From our point of view we would advise him to go into league football at this stage," said Belsey. "There are a number of clubs who want to look at him and would like to sign him. "Wrexham, Mansfield and Torquay are all interested in him, along with TNS. "There is also Yeovil, who have just made their interest known to us."
