Strags opening South Stand (Quarry Lane End!!) for Home Fans Due to the overwhelming demand for tickets for the home showdown with Carlisle on the 23rd April 2002 Mansfield Town FC have taken the decision to open the South stand (Quarry Lane End!!) for the home supporters, putting the Carlisle fans in the Bishop Street Stand. This Move, explains Club Safety officer will give the Home Fans approx. another 2000 seats bringing the home capacity to around 9400. We are obviously hoping that, this fixture will be the last of the season for the Stags and that it will be the game which springboards the Stags into Division 2.
