mansfieldtown.net reports that temporary Physio Ian Pearce has agreed to take the job on a permanent basis. Ian who has a physiotherapy practice in Mansfield filled the breach left by Barry Statham when he resigned the post at the end of December.
He comes to the Stags with a wealth of experience and professional knowledge gleaned through previous postings at Mansfield Rugby Club, Chesterfield FC and more recently Sheffield Steelers ice hockey team. Making his debut at Crewe on New Year's Day, Ian was charged with the task of bringing injured players Andy White and Colin Larkin back to match fitness following the second half sending off of Iyseden Christie who will be sitting out the local Derby game against Chesterfield on the 18 January.
