Mansfield 103.2 have revealed that Rhys Day has extended his loan contract by a month and Andy White is out for at least a month. Day joined the Stags at the end of November and has impressed since joining Keith Curle at the centre of the Stags defence. It is believed that the Stags are keen to keep the defender on a permanent basis once his loan spell expires. Meanwhile White, the victim of a bad challenge just before half time during yesterdays win over Stockport, is expected to be out of action for at least a month with knee ligament damage. This does give Colin Larkin the chance to cement his place alongside 15-goal striker Iyseden Christie in the Stags attack.
