I will be resting Sam Clucas too. “I want to try to give players 45 minutes tonight and some a bit longer who need it.” Cox said he had a team in his head for Saturday’s opener at Scunthorpe, adding: “It’s not going to be a million miles away from the side that played last season. “We may have a new centre forward to accommodate and I can’t do much about any injuries that get picked up. “But the majority of the squad are still here from last season. So it’s not like we have a brand new squad that need to get to know each other. Most of them know each other and their role in the team already.” ----------------------- |
