The club are also proud to announce that One Call Insurance are the new home & away kit sponsors and Surridge Sports as manufacturers.

The new home shirt is predominately amber with a blue round-neck collar and cuffs, while blue shorts and amber socks complete the look of the new kit. Blue shirts, amber shorts, and blue socks are the colours of the new away kit.

Stags’ players Paul Black, Anthony Howell, Junior Daniel, Ben Hutchinson and Louis Briscoe revealed the strip at One Call Stadium this afternoon, with Sky Sports News on hand to capture the new kit.

Joint Operations Directors Paul & Tina Broughton said: “We wanted something clean-looking with a retro feel for the home shirt. “

On the new One Call Insurance sponsorship, the duo added: “We are very fortunate to have One Call as our shirt sponsors, whose investment will aid our continued progress.”

Nick Springthorpe, Managing Director at One Call Insurance said: “This is an exciting time to develop even closer links with Mansfield Town, particularly after the club’s title-winning season. There are a number of attractive fixtures for the Stags next season at One Call Stadium, where we will look to entertain our corporate clients.

“We look forward to a successful season for both the Stags and One Call Insurance,” he added.

Surridge will supply all of the Stags’ playing and technical wear to players and staff for the next three seasons. Their regional sales manager Danny Vilia said: “I am delighted have Mansfield Town on board, adding to our growing presence in the professional football market. Their passion to succeed is evident from dealing with the staff at the club and makes it even more exciting to be part of their new chapter.

“Our recent investment in UK manufacturing is a giant step forward for the brand and enables us to produce playing kits in just three weeks. This is something that Mansfield Town were very keen on utilising as it allows a constant supply to the fans.”

Commercial Manager Paul Nyland said: “We are really looking forward to working with Surridge, a UK based company which has a proven track record in manufacturing sportswear for professional clubs. As well as the quality of the new merchandise, the deal will also mean that the club will be able to sell shirts, as well as leisurewear, much quicker than ever before. We will also work with Surridge in the local community to further promote the well-established brands of Surridge and Mansfield Town Football Club.”

Chairman John Radford confirmed last night at a fans’ forum that Stags would be playing in the new kit for the next two seasons.

Stags will wear the new strip for the first time when they play a friendly in Malta against Naxxar Lions on July 06.

Prices for the new shirts are: £40 (adults), £35 (juniors), while details of when they will go on sale will be announced soon

Sky Sports News cameras were at One Call Stadium today to film a feature on club physiotherapist Simon Murphy, which is expected to be aired later tonight.

Murphy, who is thought to be the youngest head physio in the Football League, will be seen carrying out a close-season M.O.T check on some of our first team squad.

He said: “The players are currently going through a full body screen in order to highlight any issues that they may have.

“The reason for this is to try and prevent any injuries now, rather than them occurring before the start of the upcoming season,” added Murphy.

Amongst those to be put through their paces were defenders Lee Beevers, Paul Black, John Dempster and Martin Riley.

Dr Prabu, our Club Doctor, will also be seen on camera assisting our physio by checking players’ blood pressure and lung capacity
