GREENACRE DOUBT FOR SATURDAY
10th April 2002 11:52

The morning after the night before, something we have all experienced at some time or the other is surely true today.
After an emotional showdown at Field mill last night, which saw the Stags leap frog Cheltenham Town to regain their rightful place in third slot of the promotion ranks also left some doubts for 3 minute, goal scorer Chris Greenacre.

Greenacre who was seen limping off the pitch last night in the 74th minute of one of the most nerve racking games of the season, picked up a knee injury, tearing his medial ligament.

Club Physio Barry Statham says “it is 50 / 50 that Chris will be match fit for the Saturday game against York at Bootham Crescent on Saturday”.

Other knocks and bumps were picked up by Craig Disley, Adam Barrett and Lee Williamson who is said to be suffering from a dead leg today. All three are excpected to be fine for the Saturday fixture at York.
