Mansfield Town 'getting close' to agreement with Field Mill landlord Keith Haslam chad.co.uk, Saturday 13 August 2011 STAGS chairman John Radford on Saturday confirmed that he was 'getting close' to an agreement with landlord Keith Haslam over the ownership of Field Mill, reports John Lomas. http://www.chad.co.uk/sport/football/mansfield-town-fc/mansfield_town_getting_close_to_agreement_with_field_mill_landlord_keith_haslam_1_3678955 The two are due to meet in court to settle a row over the share dividend deal which saw Haslam walk away with the ownership of the ground, a deal the club say was illegal. Radford is still hopeful an agreement can be reached outside court and, although the two have a 'confidentiality agreement' in place restricting what they can reveal, he said in an interview on Mansfield radio station 103.2: “I have met with Keith Haslam six times in the last six weeks and we are getting close. “An out of court settlement is an option that is still on the table. “The team we have I feel will do their job and get us in the play-offs which leaves me to get on with doing my job and get the ground back.” ----------------- Mansfield 103.2 interview with John Radford---> http://soundcloud.com/mansfield-103-2-sport/john-radford-pre-match?utm_source=soundcloud&utm_campaign=share&utm_medium=twitter&utm_content=http://soundcloud.com/mansfield-103-2-sport/john-radford-pre-match ----------------- |
