REDDINGTON TO LEAVE, GADSBY TO SIGN
6th November 2002 20:19

BBC Radio Nottingham report that the Stags are set to sign Matt Gadsby whilst Stuart Reddington has joined Burton, both in permanent deals. Gadsby joined the Stags on a three month loan deal during pre-season, but was recalled by Walsall just before the season began. The 23 year old defender has been high on boss Stuart Watkiss' shopping list as he looks to strengthen an injury hit squad. Meanwhile Reddington is also set to join Nigel Clough at Burton Albion on a permenant deal after a successful one month loan spell. It is thought both deals will be completed tomorrow.

Details on Matthew Gadsby:
Walsall: 37 League Appearances, 10 Other Appearances, No goals
Date of Birth: 6 Sep 79, Sutton Coldfield
Height 6.00
Weight 11.03
Played for the Stags during pre-season in the games against Rushall Olympic, Nottingham Forest & Lincoln City.
