Stuart Watkiss has started to receive hate mail following the club's run of five games without a win, although takes it in good spirit.
"To be fair I have had a lot of positive letters as well - a really broad spectrum," he said.
"But some of them have pulled no punches about what they think of me and where I ought to go. They don't really help anyone at all, though.
"It seems like I've gone from being one of the best up and coming managers to a complete plonker within three weeks!
"But I am on part of my learning curve as well as many of the players and these letters certainly won't affect what I believe in and the decisions I take for what I think to be the benefit of this club.
"The majority of our supporters have been magnificent all season and were outstanding at Luton on Monday.
"But there will always be a small minority who are only too happy to have a pop at us.
"Thankfully I have also had some very nice letters as some being very open but with some good ideas as well."
