Stags youth team progress through to second round of cup The Stags youth team progressed through to the Puma Youth Alliance Cup North second round after a home victory over Grimsby Town on penalties. After the two sides had drawn 1-1 the Stags won 3-1 on penalties. The Stags youth team are next in action this Saturday 27th October when they are away to Hartlepool United with a 12.00 pm kick-off. Meanwhile Mansfield Town have been drawn at home to Stamford AFC or Alfreton Town in the first round proper of the FA Youth Cup. Alfreton's tie at Stamford is on Wednesday evening. The game will be played at Field Mill next Tuesday or Wednesday, the date will be anounced on mansfieldtown.net on Thursday. |
