YOUTH TEAM DRAW WITH CHESTERFIELD

5 Oct 2007 at Carnarvon Street, the home of Teversal FC. Kick off 7.00pm. Final score : Stags Youth 0 - 0 Spireite Youth Stags : Luke Gibbons, Tom Shaw, Eddie West, Sam Deas, Rob McCormick, Michael Grimoldby, Jamie McGhee, Warren Burrell, Grant Ryan, Lewis Croucher, Connor Higginson. Subs : James Allsop, Lewis Cracknell, Sam Pursicoe, Billy Logan. A good even game. Both sides played well. Good crowd too - 113 paying spectators. As you would expect in a local derby between the Stags and Spireites, there were a couple of meaty tackles and a few cases of 'handbags', all of which was ably sorted by the officials without resorting to waving cards about. A very enjoyable evening all round. New first teamer Ryan Goward was there, but because of tomorrow's possible debut he was reduced to watching from the touchline and being chief tea maker for Messrs. Jervis, Hollett and Holland. |
