Dearden waiting on two new faces
CHAD website, 28 August 2007 By John Lomas STAGS boss Billy Dearden is hoping to land two new faces as his injury-hit side continue to search for their first win. He has put in a bid for one player and it is now up to the two clubs to agree on a fee. And Dearden is also waiting a call back from a player who would come in on loan. "There is not a lot in it between what we've offered and what his club wants so I am hopeful we can come to an agreement on the first one," he said. "On the loan deal, I am just waiting for a call back from the player to say he wants to come. "You would like to think two new faces would give us a lift for Saturday. I am hopeful we will get them. We will have to wait and see." |
