No cut-price tickets for Stockport game

More anti-Keith Haslam protests are expected this Saturday, particularly after the decision to keep ticket prices at normal levels for the game.
New chairman James Derry had promised last season that admission to the first home game of the new season would be just £5.

That did not happen as Mr Derry pointed out that his pledge never planned to include a local derby and Lincoln City were the visitors.

So fans were expecting a cut-price game this Saturday. However, Mr Derry has now said: "At the present time, I am not in control of the club and therefore I cannot make the decision to lower this Saturday's ticket prices.

"However, as people are aware, I have put a bid in to take over the club. Should this bid be successful I will allow adults to watch the first game in which I am in charge of for £5, providing it is not a local derby."

Campaigning supporters' group Stags Fans For Change are meeting this Wednesday to discuss what they will do next.
