Reet returns after Rochdale disappointment
CHAD website, 10 May 2007

FORGOTTEN striker Danny Reet is due back at Field Mill this week after his disappointing loan spell at League Two rivals Rochdale.
But he is still under contract to Mansfield Town and manager Billy Dearden said Reet could still have a future with the Stags.

Reet made eight starts for Mansfield, came on as substitute a further 17 times, and scored seven goals, including a superb dislay at home to neighbours Notts County.

Amid well-publicised problems of keeping his weight down, he went off to Rochdale on loan but did not start a game for them.

"It is disappointing he didn't make a start or get more football at Rochdale," said Dearden.

"He didn't get anything more than he was getting here.

"Danny is back this week and has to sort out what he wants to do.

"He is still our player and we know he has got ability. Danny has just got to get himself very, very fit for the start of next season if he wants to make a living out of the game - it's as simple as that."
