Mansfield Town supporters group Stags Fans For Change (SFFC) is holding a charity fundraising Race Night at The Ram Inn on Littleworth, Mansfield on Saturday 12th May.

SFFC is hoping to raise substantial funds on the night to buy essential equipment the maternity unit at King's Mill Hospital.

The Race Night will have 8 races in all, with the first race starting at 8.30pm. Each owner of a winning horse will win a bottle of Champagne and there are hosts of great raffle prizes to be won on the night.

“The maternity unit provides vital care for hundreds of expectant mothers each year either at the hospital or in the community. We are hoping that the funds we raise will purchase essential equipment such as portable weighing scales for community midwives that will help lots of mothers and babies in future. Although we are organising the event it is open to anyone who wants to come along, enjoy the night and help raise funds for the unit,” said a SSFC spokesman.
