A team of Mansfield Town Supporters who play against other teams' supporters up and down the County in the national IFA league will be taking on a team of former Mansfield Town legends at Field Mill this Sunday (3pm).
Last year the game - in aid of the Nottingham City Hospital Cancer Care Trust - was played at Teversal FC and raised almost £2,000.

The Stephen McIntyre Memorial Trophy will again be up for grabs, last season the Legends beat Follow the Yellow Brick Road 9-3.

Mansfield Town legends who hope to be there include Kevin Bird, Jimmy McCaffrey, Scott Sellers, Phil Stant, Ian Bowling, Johnny Miller, Paul Holland, Simon Coleman, Ernie Moss, Colin Foster, Mark Kearney and Steve Parkin, Les McJannett, Jamie Walker and Ian Wood.

Several players who can't play for various reasons, are also coming along to the game these include Terry Eccles, Mick Laverick and Kevin Randall.

Special guest will be Tom Stimpson, the oldest surviving Stags player who has just celebrated his 100th birthday.

Although he doesn't get about too well these days, Tom will head out into the centre circle in his wheelchair to present the matchball to the referee.

Mansfield 103.2 are official match sponsors and admission is £4 adults, £2 for children/OAPs.

Stags Supporters' Association members can still vote for their SSA Player Of The Year.

They can vote by sending an email with their nominated player and SSA membership number to ssa@stagsnet.net or by ringing 07967 689597, leaving the same information.
