Stags Sign Sportswear Giant
mansfieldtown.net. 02May2006 Mansfield Town Football Club have teamed up with leisurewear giants Carlotti in a new three year kit sponsorship deal which will see the company supply the Stags with high quality home and away kits and training wear starting from the 2006/7 season. The new deal also completes the picture for Streetwise Sports, Carlotti's parent company, who are already the Official Retailer to Mansfield Town FC. Carlotti's managing director, Paul Simpson, is looking forward to working with the Stags over the next few years. "We are delighted with the new deal and are looking forward to building a long and prosperous partnership with Mansfield. The Club has a great history and fantastic fan base that Carlotti are proud to be associated with." Stags Chairman Keith Haslam commented "It is nice to be dealing with a UK based company who have an excellent design team and can offer a quality product. I'm also delighted to be establishing a closer link with Streetwise Sports who are very proactive in supporting community initiatives with their local sports teams." "As well as providing Mansfield Town with exciting new kit designs, this new partnership will undoubtedly widen the range of leisurewear available to our supporters," said Stags Commercial Manager Angela Gregory. "In addition, the extended link with Streetwise Sports means official merchandise is now available 7 days a week plus the club will be introducing an online sales facility prior to the start of the new season." The new designs will be on display for the first time in the matchday programme at the game v Cheltenham on Saturday 6th May and will then go on display at Streetwise Sports, St Peter's Retail Park. Both the club and the store will be taking pre orders for the new strip. |
