Post Match Reaction

Mariners' boss Russell Slade says that his side were punished for two mistakes but he hopes that his players will learn from it.

He said: "That's the first time this season that we've made two blunders in the same game. Not only have we made two blunders, we have been punished for them. Other than that, Mansfield perhaps had one other opportunity.

"We've made two mistakes that have cost us dearly and hopefully we've learned our lessons."

"Perhaps a 2-0 scorline flattered them but to be fair they've taken their chances.

"You've got to take that on the chin and try and do something about it in the second half. I thought we did, I thought we upped the tempo.

"I thought that our goal was coming. Unfortunately I thought that the goal came too late - which didn't leave us a lot of time."

"I thought perhaps we could have had a penalty or two - it makes you wonder what you have to do to get a penalty

"Pressman's got man of the match, I think that tells a story."
