Gavin Peers
Twenty year old Right full Back Gavin Peers has left the Stags. The youngster who signed in the summer from Blackburn Rovers became upset at not getting the first team action that was hoping for and Stags Manager Peter Shirtliff felt that he was feeling homesick.

Peers asked to have his contract terminated following the game on Boxing Day away at Northampton.

Feeling that Peers was feeling homesick, Shirtliff agreed to terminate his contract and the player returned to his family home in Dublin by Mutual consent.

Mansfield Town FC would like to wish him all the best in his future career.
