Tonight's Mansfield Town v Bristol Rovers Coca-Cola League Two clash will go ahead after the Field Mill pitch passed a 5pm inspection.
Stags have hired out a pitch cover for the Festive season which has kept the pitch free from frost and snow and that will remain on until near kick-off.

At the moment the pitch is soft and playable and the referee is happy that the game can go ahead as planned.

However, there will be a further pitch inspection at 5.00pm this evening when the frost covers come up to declare the pitch playable and fit.

Hi all

A ground inspection by MTFC Health & Safety Officer has given the go ahead for tonight's match v Bristol and there will be a further pitch inspection by the referee at 5pm to confirm this.

Please listen to Mansfield 103.2 for further updates & avoid calling the club unless absolutely necessary as this is preventing club officials from undertaking match preparations.

Many thanks for your co-operation.
